He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Eugene Bass and Cora Maxine Bass (Murray); his wife Linda Bass; and his sister Maxie Biggs. He is survived by: his son Ramey Bass (Jodi) of Livingston, Texas; his grandchildren, Anna Bass, Blayne Bass, Luke Bass, Chase McCue and Tristen McCue; his great grandchildren, Danni Bass and Colton Bass; and his siblings, Lockey Bass (Brenda) of Lufkin, Michael Bass of Lufkin, Texas and Jo Ann Garton (Donny) of Huntington, Texas. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (6348 FM 58, Lufkin, TX 75901).
