He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Root and Ruth Shirley Root (Rosecrantz). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Root; his children, Joseph Sekel (Stephanie) and Renee Beck; his siblings, Donald Root (Linda) and Sharon Rocker (William); his grandchildren, Chase (Haily), Lexi (Teddy), Riley, Brayden and Tristyn; and his pets, Harley and Cooper. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends.
