She was predeceased by: her husband Pete Mence; and her sister Norm Rae Foreman. She is survived by: her sons, David Keith Mence of Livingston and Martin Kyle of Sherman; her daughter-in-law Laurel Mence of Sherman; her grandson Benjamin Barnett of Sherman; and her brother Harold Nazworth of Little Cypress. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
