She was predeceased by: her mother Rhonda Tilley; and her aunt Barbara Tilley. She is survived by: her husband Richard Kessel; her children, Jason Kessel, Chelsea Nix, Chantz Nix and Tessa Kessel; her grandchildren, Samuel, Bairon, Daniel, Adrien, Wren and Kase; her sisters, Tonja Hernandez and Natasha Johnson; and her aunt Sandra McFadyen. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
