We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Shirley Sandlin of Livingston, Texas, born in Houston, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Davis Burke and Edna Mae Clark; her mother-in-law Reba Sandlin; and her grandson Frankie Dowdell. She is survived by: her husband Charles Patrick Sandlin; her children, Holly Sandlin, Misty Sandlin Dowdell (Stephen), Sactricia Sweeney (James), Flecia Donahoe (Dalton), Brady Reeves and Faron Sandlin (Tommie); and her grandchildren, Amber Sandlin Imada (Tsunetaka), Margie Sandlin Wallace (Cody), Kelsey Sandlin, Bubba Sandlin, Kathlynn Dowdell of Stephen Dowdell, JR, Rachel Martin (Will Weston) and Atasha Slagel (Chris).

We enjoyed talking about spring flowers, online Bible study, her Dr.’s appointments, & her daughter (my bestie), Holly. Shirley was a joyful, compassionate women of God. I was blessed to have known her for the couple of years I did. PSALMS 55:22 Cast your burden upon the Lord & He will sustain you. Holly, baby my family & I will always be here for you.”
