She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Malpass and Bessie Marie Malpass (Adams); her son Jose "Trey" Alonso III; and her siblings, Brendell Solomon and Colby Graham Malpass.
She is survived by: her husband Jose Alonso of Livingston, Texas; her daughter Monica Munson (Edward) of Livingston, Texas; her grandchildren, Daniel Jose Munson of Nacogdoches, Texas and Isabella Christina Munson of Magnolia, Arkansas; her sisters, Marilyn Nelson of Onalaska and Kyra Tangedahl (Dan) of Conroe, Texas; and her siblings-in-law, Teresa Alonso of Houston, Judi Alonso of Rosenberg, Fred Alonso of Houston, Texas, John Alonso of Houston, Texas and Lambert Alonso of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
