He is survived by: his wife Charlene "Judie" Gardner of Livingston; his sons, Sammie Gardner (Billie) of Livingston, Texas and Chris Gardner (Sonya) of Livingston, Texas; his siblings, Mary Gardner of Houston, Linda Rogers of Arkansas, Francis Jackson (Raleigh) of Humble, Clifford Gardner (Gwen) of Casa Grande and Maurice Gardner of Cleveland, Texas; his daughter-in-law Tina Crawford; and his grandchildren, Jasmine Hinds, Jade Gardner, De'Angelo Crawford and Dameon Youngblood. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 22 adopted sons.
