“I met Ronnie in 1955. We were in the Texas National Guard together. We remained friends since. We saw our respective children born and sadly some of them die. Through the early years of our friendship we were actively enjoying duck/goose hunting together. Some of my best memories of this life are the times we spent in the marshes and having to "attend" the annual National Guard events. He was a big , strong man. Always friendly and kind to all and respected by all.”
