Rodney Carlos Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney Carlos Smith of Livingston, Texas, born in Sweetwater, Texas, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delton Carlos Smith and Leonnie Jo Smith (Nichols); and his daughter Kylie Smith. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Smith; his daughters, Lauri (James Henagan), Jana (Danny Pruett) and Whitney (Kelly Lahr); his grandchildren, Stetson Henagan, Lane Lahr, Avery Pruett, Bristal Lahr and Ashlynn Pruett; his sister Ricki Smith Green; and his nieces, Kimberly (Terry Truett) and Keri (Brent Keathley). He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church - Livingston (106 Colt Rd, Livingston, TX 77351). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
