He is survived by: his wife Linda Stephens Minter; his uncle Gene Boddie (Faylene); his brother Sherman Minter (Judy); his niece Robin Schiefelbein of Minnesota; his brother Truman Minter (Buddy) of Livingston; his niece Amy Minter Mayer of Conroe, TX; his cousins, Joe Wiggins, Bonnie Blue Wiggins, Martha Wiggins, Carline Boddie Swilley, Linda Jackson and Charlene Pope Taylor; and also, Doug Wiggins and Rex.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to local animal welfare organizations like the SPCA of Polk County in his honor.
