He is survived by: his wife Dawn Evans Smith; his mother Marie Hames; his daughter Stephanie Smith of Baytown; his grandchildren, Trent Smith of Brenham and Jade Wotipka of Baytown; and his brother Robert Smith (Shelly). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
