He was predeceased by: his son Zachary Hecker; his parents, Roger Hecker and Liz Hecker; his siblings, Cathy, Nancy Barrow, Earnest "Skip" and James "Jimmy" Barrow; and his grandparents, Miklos and Nancy Matis.
He is survived by: his children, Miklos Hecker, Oran Shumaker (Stacy) and Ashton Shumaker (Louis); his grandchildren, Kelly Hecker, Alannah Shumaker, Lil Louis Morgan Jr., Samuel Morgan and Stevie Morgan; and his sisters, Deborah Barrow and Betty Wojcik (Allan).
