He was predeceased by: his parents, William Van Alstine and Claire Van Alstine (Golen). He is survived by: his son Jason Van Alstine (Sandi) of Tomball, Texas; his sisters, Kitty Carroll (Joe) of Chicago and Pat Voelker (Bob) of Lincoln, Nebraska; and his grandchildren, Jake Van Alstine of Tomball, Texas and Emma Van Alstine of Tomball, Texas. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
