It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Samantha Battise of Livingston, Texas, born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Cox and Lula Faye Cook; and her friend Laverne Brown. She is survived by: her husband Ken Battise of Livingston, TX; her children, David Mattingly of Winnie, TX, Michael Tant, Jr. (Lauren Tant) of Vidor, TX, Andrea Mattingly of Winnie, TX and Amber Tant of Livingston, TX; her grandchildren, Hannah Camacho of Florida, Brenden Brelsford (Megan Driver), Kendall Tant and Cash Tant (Waylon Tant); and her friend Sharon Peloquin. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
