She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Brooks Peebles and Nellie Josephine Henry; and her husband Alec "Buz" Cockrell. She is survived by: her sons, Ben Cockrell (Pricilla) and Chance Cockrell (Ali); her grandchildren, Laci Booth, Luke Cockrell, Karson Cockrell, Lane Cockrell, Preston Monteforte and Auston Monteforte; her great grandchild Aubrey Cockrell; and her siblings, Fred Peebles (LaDonna) and Martha Lou Peebles. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cochran Funeral Home (406 N Yaupon Ave, Livingston, TX 77351). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Cochran Funeral Home Chapel (406 N Yaupon Ave, Livingston, TX 77351).
