He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Paul Mata; his children, Elisa Quintanilla, Manuel Mata Jr., Richard Mata and Paul Mata (Rachel); and his siblings, Robert Mata (Sarah), Frank Mata (Paula) and Frances Lara (Juan). He was also cherished by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and numerous other family members.
