He was predeceased by: his parents, Tib Gilbert and Blanche Gilbert (Everett); his grandchildren, Brandon Keen and Victoria Mendenhall; and his great grandchild Jonathan Gilbert.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gilbert of Onalaska, Texas; his daughter Carol; his son-in-law Jerry Keen of Shepherd, Texas; his sons, Lyndon Gilbert Jr. of Alto, Texas and Carlton; his daughter-in-law Judy Bailes of Dallas, Texas; his son Check; his daughter-in-law Dianna Bailes of Colorado; his daughter Molly; his son-in-law Kenneth Rosier of Hearne, Texas; his daughter Karen; his son-in-law Delton Casner of Onalaska, Texas; his daughters, Shellie Davis of Onalaska, Texas and Patti; his son-in-law Taft Snow of Old Ocean, Texas; and his daughter Debra Cady of Old Ocean, Texas. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
