He was predeceased by: his wife Corina. He is survived by: his mother Bonnie Langford; his children, Cherece Mendieta (Juan), Shawn Arter and Sheldon Arter (Jennifer); and his siblings, Danny Arter (Lonnie), Connie Hughes (Paul) and Connie Maass (Gary). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
