With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy Lynn Moody of Livingston, Texas, born in New Caney, Texas, who passed away on December 12, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Kathy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kathy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kathy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Calcote and Maurice Calcote (Norton); and her sister Renee Calcote. She is survived by: her sons, Chris Sanders of Livingston, Texas, Bryan Roark (Andrea) and Corey Moody (Jordan); and her grandchildren, Tyler Sanders, Zachary Sanders, Katlynn Sanders, Christopher Sanders, Rylee Moody and Anakin Moody. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home (406 N Yaupon Ave, Livingston, TX 77351).
