She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Felipe Ruiz and Trinidad Corpus; her brothers, Felipe Ruiz and David Villagomez; and her nephew Oscar Felipe Flores.

She is survived by: her parents, Felipe Ruiz and Ana Maria Bermea; and her siblings, Juan Ruiz, Angel Zuniga, Esmeralda Flores, Yaritza Ruiz and Eliana Villagomez.
