He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Alonso; his son Jose Alonso III; and his brother Fred Alonso. He is survived by: his daughter Monica; his son-in-law Ed Munson of Livingston; his grandchildren, Daniel Jose (Shelby Munson) of Livingston and Isabella Munson of Livingston; and his siblings, Teresa Alonso of Houston, Judy Sykora of Houston, Lambert Alonso of Houston and John Alonso of Houston. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
