He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Aveline Kelley Hoard and Leavon Arrendell Bond; his great-grandparent Carrie Belle Kelley; his grandfathers, S. E. Hoard, Arthur Hardy and Willie Bond; his aunts, Lois Faye Kennedy and Sheila Enloe Hardy; and his uncle James Turner.
He is survived by: his parents, Dorrell Turner and Mary Hardy Turner (Kathy); and his children, Preston Troxell, John Steven Turner II, Levi Grace, Logan Turner and Madeline Turner. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
