He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Burns and Beth Burns. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Charles Henry Campbell; his mother-in-law Charlie T. Carleton; his sister-in-law Kathy Carleton; his pet Buddy; his wife Brenda Carleton Burns; and his sisters, Elaine Morgan and LaVelle Campbell. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
