He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Thomas Lloyd Gardner (T. L.) and Rosie Lee Gardner; and his grandson Hunter Lee Kelley. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Walker Gardner; his brother Tom Gardner (Deloris Gardner); his children, Todd Edward Gardner (B. J. Gardner), Jeffrey Hooks Gardner (Lecie Gardner), Linda Gardner Lane, Allison King Lindsay Coates (Dan Coates) and Jennifer Ann Lindsay; and his grandchildren, Meagan Gardner Nelson, Zachary H. Gardner (Sage Gardner), Catherine Cartwright, Allen Keef of Johnny, J. F, Brittain (Jenna Brittain), Laura McVicar Scudder (Curtis Scudder), Blake M. Campbell, John D. Coates, Nicola Zeytunlu (Melisa Trockels), Charles Clarke and Rayce Franco (Tesia Loehwing). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and numerous friends that have become a part of his family.
