It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Day Sr. (Livingston, Texas), born in Conroe, Texas, who passed away on July 21, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Leo Day, Sr. and Bertha Hayes Day; his siblings, Herbert Leo Day, Jr., Lee Franklin Day, James Clayton "Jimmy" Day and Patricia Day Davis; his son Richard Douglas Day; and his son-in-law Dino Momayezi.
He is survived by: his wife Jewel E. Day; his children, Joe Thomas Day, Jr. (Pat), Jewel Momayezi and Jane Ellen Bialas (James); his grandchildren, Joe Thomas Day, III (Jenny), Sheerin Ager (Michael), Farrah Reid (Mike), Kimberly Barnett (Lane), Kellie Taglioli (Don), Tobi Evans, Thomas Day, Courtney Simeone and Christy Walter (Scott); and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Haleigh, McKayla, Lillie, Judy, JT, Peyton, Sofie, Alex, Vince, Karleigh, Kyler and Avery. He is also survived by three brothers and one sister.
