James Monroe Parker IV Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Monroe Parker IV (Livingston, Texas), who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vonda Parker and James Monroe Parker III; and his niece Christi Woodard (Chris Woodard). He is survived by: his wife Ellen Monte; his children, Jonathan Monte-Parker (Elizabeth) and Stephanie Webster (Charles); his grandchildren, Charlie Webster, Morgan Patterson and Max Patterson; his brother Robert Parker (Connie); his stepsons, James Patterson (Brian) and Matt Patterson (Jessie); his nephew Steven Parker (Estella); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tiera, Cecelia and Michael Woodard; and his caregiver Guy Montoya.

In honor of his legacy, the family asks that donations be made to disability rights organizations in his name.
