She was predeceased by: her parent Rena Bullock; her sons, Jeffrey Alec and Damon "Pops" Alec; and her brother Norman Bullock. She is survived by: her children, Ricky Sylestine (Belinda), James F. Sylestine (Maureen Sterling), Mark Alec, Carlos Alec, Duane Alec, Mitchell Alec and Hilda Pittman (Dee Ray); and her siblings, Jane Nielson and Billy Alex. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
