He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Doris Vines and Lois Elizabeth Vines (Badgley); his wife Evelyn Vines; and his son Gilbert Dale Vines. He is survived by: his son Mark Vines of Spring, Texas; and his grandchildren, Abby Vines Mechler, Carina Vines Mechler and Christian Vines Mechler. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
