It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Steele of Livingston, Texas, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Hazel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Hazel farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hollaway and Allie Hollaway; her husband Kenneth Steele; and her sons, Larry and Jonny Steele.
She is survived by: her daughters, Helen Hollaway and Regina Schmidt. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, three sisters, one brother, as well as her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home (12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and at 3:00 PM.
