He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel Robinett; his parents, Jay Robinett and Arminta Robinett; his brothers, Reginal Robinett and Audry Robinett; and his grandsons, Dustin Sanderford and Brent Cleveland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shirley Lee (Lacy), Patsy Kay (Jodie) and Terrie Gresham (Terry); his brother Winfred Robinett; his grandchildren, Dennis James Cleveland, Tanya Sanderford, Donald James Robinett, Joey Kay, Jeffrey Kay, Jayson Kay, Lauren Kay, Misty Brown and Malinda Cook; and his pet Daisy May. He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren.
