He is survived by: his wife Brandi Matthews of Livingston, Texas; his children, Courtney "Kitten Koon" Stracener of Crosby, Texas, Stephen Burton (Kaci) of Nederland, Derek Jordan (Lacy) of Splendora and Josh Coppock (Malarie) of Benton, Arkansas; his siblings, Shane Lowe of Vinton, Louisiana, Connie Morgan (Kevin) of Jasper, Trina Shaver (Johnny) of Danbury and Samantha Walter (Danny) of Vinton, Louisiana; his stepfather Carl Shaver; and his grandchildren, Conner Stracener, Macie Stracener, Millie Stracener, Maridee Burton, Caden Burton, Arabella Jordan, Mary Alice Jordan, Evelyn Jordan, Chasen Jordan, Hunter Knight and Baylor Coppock.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faithway Missionary Baptist Church. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Morgan Cemetery.
