He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cisero and Katy Maze Nettles; his wife Marjorie Sailer; and his siblings, Jewel, Alvis, Wilson, Jack Raymond, Aubrey Earl, Glen Roy, Kenneth, Betty and Elmer.

He is survived by: his sisters, Faye Hamilton and Dene Courtney; his sons, Floyd (Cindy Nettles), David (Veness Nettles) and Doug (Carla Nettles); his grandchildren, David Alan, Daniel, Dusti, Drake, Sue, John, Jordan, Alicia and Erica; and his great grandchildren, Sadie, Sawyer, Dane and Jade.
