He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbridge Augusta Seagroves Sr. and Ivy Seagroves (Murry); his wife Barbara Seagroves (LaFour); and his siblings, Daryl Seagroves and Barbara Seagroves.

He is survived by: his children, Elbridge Seagroves III (Jessilyn) of Bryan, Melanie Seagroves of Livingston and Iva Connor of Livingston; his grandchildren, Joslynn Connor, Tayvin Davalous, Jeremy Seagroves, Sky Connor, Jared Seagroves of Chase Seagroves, S. A and Barbara Seagroves; his great grandchildren, Adilynn, Riley, Anna, Zane and Kaylee; his siblings, Patricia Roach, Tina Seagroves, Sandra Reynolds, Billy Wayne Seagroves and Ronnie Seagroves; and his close friend Neice Roberts. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
