He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Strapps and Lillie Mae Strapps (Small). He is survived by: his wife Clara Strapps (Hunter) of Livingston, Texas; his children, Ricky Dykes of Phoenix, Arizona and Angie Strapps of Livingston, Texas; his father-in-law Robert Hunter of Livingston, Texas; his grandchildren, Krystina Dykes, Kira Dykes, Kodi Dykes, Chance Cantrell, Charlie Cantrell, Layla Cantrell and Lylah Cantrell; and his siblings, Sherry Strapps of Iowa, Barbara Strapps of Menifee, California, George Buckalew (Teresa), Mike Buckalew (Carla) and Joe Paul Buckalew of Iowa, Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
