She was predeceased by: her parents, Nina Mae Holmes Miles and John Henry Miles Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Eugene McGowen; her siblings, Reva Mae LaFall, Beverly Criner of Berlin, MD, John Henry Miles Jr. (Ruby) of Conroe, Texas, Clarence Miles (Benita) of Livingston, Texas, James Miles (Lena) of Houston, Texas, Rev. Andre Miles of Houston, Texas and Rev. Stacey Miles of Houston, Texas; her niece Lovie Criner; and her nephew Desmond Miles. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
