She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Allen Abshier and Elia Abshier (Trahan); and her siblings, Gerri Deberry and Jerald Abshier. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Detillier of Houston, Theresa Scott (Judi Greene) of Onalaska, Texas, John A. Scott (Peter Weeks) of Lago Mar and Michael Ewing of Dayton, Texas; her granddaughter Kandis Weaver (Michael) of Katy, Texas; and her siblings, Elray Abshier of Hardin, Texas, Earl Abshier (Cheryl) of Hardin, Texas and Rhonda Ward (Rick) of Hardin, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
