He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Battise and Helen Battise (Poncho); his son Jeremy Evron Kendrick Battise; his wife Kara Battise (Abbey) of Livingston, Texas; his daughters, Emily Battise, Brittany Kierston Battise (David), Kaytlinn Rhyannon Kowena (Michael) and Selena McKiney Battise (Caleb); his adoptive children, Samantha Battise, Idele Tahsequah and Jonathan Williams; and his brothers, Clifton Kimbro Battise and Claudie Ray Battise. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
