He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Benoit and Annie Benoit (Duhon); his wife Mildred Benoit; and his brother Harold Benoit. He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Underwood (Doug Taylor) and Bonnie; his son-in-law Jimmy Hickman; his brother John "Leo"; his sister-in-law Anna Benoit; his brother Carroll; his sister-in-law Margie Benoit; his brother Larry; his sister-in-law Ella Jagneaux; his sisters, Barbara Jagneaux, Patsy Jagneaux and Donna Sue; his brother-in-law Lynn Gaudet; and his grandchildren, Jessica Adams, Joseph Guinn, Brian Baxter, Justin Hickman and Brodie Hickman. He is also survived by numerous other relatives, and friends.
