He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Hancock and Luella Hancock (Taylor); his son Brent Hancock; his stepchildren, Michael Bunting and Linda Kowis; and his siblings, Kitty Beck and Carl Eugene Hancock.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Hancock of Livingston, Texas; his children, Ronald Hancock (Karen) of Bryan, Texas and Andrea Hancock of Austin, Texas; his stepdaughter June Morton of New Caney, Texas; and his sister Marie Carroll of Semmes, Ala. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 7 step-great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
