Charles Hendon Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Hendon of Livingston, Texas, who passed away on August 25, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Lee Jordan Hendon and David Hendon; his wife Helen Bailey Hendon; his children, Stephanie Hataway and Don Iles; and his siblings, David Rudolph Hendon, Tommy Hendon, Murtelle Hendon, Juanita Hendon and Nancy Ann Courtney.

He is survived by: his sons, Doug Hendon of Livingston, Chase Dunn (Gwen) of Jasper, Douglas "Trent" Iles (Joan) of Ohio and Randy Iles (June) of Woodville; his siblings, Fred Hendon of Livingston, Al Hendon (Wendy) of Massachusetts, Kitty Stoddard (Glen) of Massachusetts and Kaffy Fontenot of Lake Charles, LA; and his grandchildren, Lauren Taylor Hendon, James Edward Hendon, Angela McLaughlin (Joshua), Brad Dunn (Jennifer), Lesleigh Stacey (Matt) and Lindsay Hataway.
