He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bailey Smith and Ernestine Wyatt; and his brothers, JC Smith and Carson Smith. He is survived by: his wife Denise Smith of Livingston, Texas; his sons, Timothy Smith (Tanya) of Livingston, Hollis Roberson (Shelle) of San Marcos, Christopher Smith of Livingston, David Smith (Katherine) of Woodville and Carson Smith (Tiffany) of Carlisle, Texas; his grandchildren, Trevor Smith, Zachary Roberson, Maggie Smith, Rose Crosby, Ashlyn Crosby, Bradley Crosby, Jinger Crosby, Landon Clark and Searra Clark; and his sister Linda Sweet of Lockhart, Texas. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel (406 N Yaupon Ave, Livingston, TX 77351).
