He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Nettles and Myrtle Nettles (Capps); and his son Joshua Nettles. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Nettles; his children, Byron Nettles Jr., Ben Nettles (Dorothy) and Joy Odom; and his brother Henry Nettles (Kenneth Nettles). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild; as well as many other friends.
