In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Burl leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Burl may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula Mae (Gaskey) and William Burl Shotwell; and his siblings, J. W. Shotwell and Winnie Saxton. He is survived by: his wife Tomy Geane Shotwell; his stepchildren, Tina Denton, Melissa Waldrep and Kenneth Waldrep (Cheryl); and his sisters, Shirley Nicholson and Elizabeth Shires (James). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great- grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pace Funeral Home (200 FM350N N, Livingston, TX 77351).
