It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Wiggins (Livingston, Texas), born in Onalaska, Texas, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charlie Sowell and Leecy Mae Crawford Sowell; her husband Barney Wiggins; her siblings, George Lavern Sowell (Maggie), Charlsie Ruth Sowell Tipton (Wilburn), Maurice James Sowell, Syble Mae Sowell Durham (Hughes) and Doris Estine Sowell Munson (Rex); her siblings-in-law, Sally Ann Sowell and Bobby Lee Jordan; her daughter Myrtle Leecy Wiggins Cooksey; and her grandson Jason Michael Wright Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Jobe Wiggins (Beverly) of Huntsville, Barbara Brannon (Wally) of Katy and Debbie LeBlanc (Jerry) of Livingston; her grandchildren, Paul Wiggins (Lizzy) of College Station, Christina Laviolette (Stan) of Pollok, Wendy Williams (Eric) of College Station, Julianne Daniel (Danny) of College Station, Brien Wiggins (Maria) of Bryan, Lauren Gadberry (Zach) of College Station, Josh Munnerlyn (Aymie) of Conroe, Bonnie Cooksey, Jason Laramore of Wylie, Jesse Davis, Alicia Matsushima of Houston, Shanna Hogan (Ryan) of Katy, Jacob Howard (Jenn) of Katy, Rebecca Dominy (Mark) of Bryan and Chase LeBlanc (Taylor) of College Station; her siblings, Milton Conard Sowell of Nacogdoches and Betty Jo Stanley of Livingston; her sister-in-law Jane Sowell of Georgia; and her great grandchild Geraldine Halstead. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Mourners are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Youth or Senior Program at First Baptist Church 106 Colt Road, Livingston, Texas.
