She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Harrison Hines and Ruby Mae Hines (Matlock); her husband Jesse J. Sims; her brother Byron Hines; her daughter-in-law Shannon Sims; and her siblings-in-law, J. W. Sims, Bob Green, Allen Osbourne, Pearl Hampton and Dorothy Green.
She is survived by: her sons, William D. Sims of Livingston and Barry L. Sims (Trena) of Odessa, Texas; her grandchildren, Martha Phillips (Ethan), Jared Sims (Ashley Englund), Ben Sims and Sarah Garner (Brady); her great grandchildren, Hayes Lynch, Samuel Phillips and Jackson Phillips; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Hines, Elaine Osbourne, Shirley Vickson and Billy Green (Marguerite).
