She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Alexander Sr. and Josie Alexander (Hilton); her husband Richard Messick; her sons, Mike Messick and Steve Messick; her son-in-law Jack Jones; and her brothers, Earl Alexander, Murl Alexander and Perry Alexander.
She is survived by: her daughter Vicki Jones of Livingston, Texas; her grandchildren, Ethan Messick (Codey) of New Braunfels, Texas, Kevin Walker (Natalie) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Amanda (Jeremy Lauret) of Baytown, Texas and Jennifer Leigh of Livingston, Texas; and her brothers, Isaac Alexander Jr. of Livingston, Hilton Alexander of Baytown and Joe Alexander of Livingston, Texas.
