He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton McDuffie and Gladys Oakes; and his siblings, Wayne McDuffie and Winnie Sue Bartee. He is survived by: his daughter Martie Nugent (Jerry) of Livingston, Texas; his grandchildren, Madeline Phillips (Garett) of Livingston, Texas, Hunter Morgan (Gabby) of Colmesneil, Colbey Nugent and Jake Nugnet; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer Phillips, Saige Phillips, Steele Phillips, Tucker Morgan, Maverick Morgan and Darcey Morgan. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel (406 N Yaupon Ave, Livingston, TX 77351). A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Egypt Cemetery.
