He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Johnson Pleasant Carter and Benjamin Thomas Pleasant; and his stepfather Millard Carter. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Dyer Pleasant; his children, Jerry Thomas Pleasant and Leslie Pleasant Jackson (Randy Lee Jackson); his sister Billie Jo Rewjuk; his granddaughters, Erica Rene Pleasant and Tessie Sheree Miller (Robbie Miller); and his great grandchildren, Mason Chmielewski, Skylar Miller, Laykin Miller and Emery Miller.
