She was predeceased by: her parents, William Albert Dickens and Othie Dickens (Parrish); her husband Kenneth Murphy; and her sister Jo Ellen Keefer. She is survived by: her daughter Jo Carol; her foster children, Melva, Lucy, Angie, James and Renee; her daughter Jody Stutts (George) of Jones Creek, Texas; her grandchildren, Ray Stutts of Jones Creek, Texas and Santana McMurrey (Marshall) of Houston, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Chloe, Cole of Marshall and Audra.
