He is survived by: his parents, Miguel Angel Ortega of Livingston, Texas and Minerva Cruz of Livingston, Texas; his wife Candiace Ortega (Chavez) of Livingston, Texas; his sons, Miguel Angel Ortega and Emilio Javier Ortega of Livingston, Texas; and his siblings, Juana Ortega of Los Gatos, Marisa Ortega of Livingston, Texas, Luis Ortega of Tamuin, Mexico, Jesus Ortega of Livingston, Texas, Leticia Ortega of Livingston, Victoria Ortega of Lufkin, Daniela Ortega of Livingston, Texas and Gladis Ortega of Livingston, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
